WOODSTOVE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
The Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District Board announces the availability of funds for a woodstove replacement program during 2009-10. A $500 monetary incentive voucher will be provided to residents of Inyo, Mono and Alpine Counties who replace their old non-EPA certified woodstoves, and purchases new cleaner burning heating appliances including: EPA Phase II certified non-catalytic woodstoves, pellet stoves, kerosene heaters or stoves, and propane heaters or stoves.
The program will start on November 1, 2009 and run through April 30, 2010 or until available funds are depleted.
