THE GREAT BASIN UNIFIED AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT REQUESTS PUBLIC COMMENT ON A DECISION TO GRANT A PERMIT TO KIRKWOOD MEADOWS PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
Pursuant to District Rule 205, the Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District (District) solicits public comment on a proposed permit to be granted to Kirkwood Meadows Public Utility District (KMPUD) for a power plant with six diesel internal combustion engines. The KMPUD power plant will be located on Powerhouse Road, Kirkwood, California.
The application, supporting documents, District analysis and proposed permit conditions are available for inspection at the District’s office. Written comments must be postmarked or delivered to the District office by May 7, 2010. A public hearing to receive comments on this proposed decision may be requested by writing to the APCO.
